Team India announced the squad for 1st test match vs Bangladesh

On Sunday, team India announced their test squad for the first test match against Bangladesh of the two-match test series starting on 19 September. The first test match of this 2-match test series will commence at Chepauk, and the second test match is scheduled to take place at Green Park, Kanpur from 27 Sept to 1 Oct respectively. The Indian Cricket Board has added left-handed bowler Yash Dayal for the first test match. Other key players such as Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah, Virat Kohli and are set to make their comeback in the test squad. 

The left-handed wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant will make his comeback for Team India in the red ball format for the first time after the car accident. Rishabh Pant returned to cricket after 15 months following that almost life-taking incident. He then played earlier this year in the Indian T20 League, and soon after that, he was also a part of Team India's T20 World Series winning squad in the 8 innings he added 171 runs with the strike rate of 127.61. After this, the 26-year-old wicketkeeper also participated in the ODI series against Sri Lanka last month which India unfortunately lost by 0-2.

Yash Dayal gets a maiden call for Team India

Indian team's young left-arm pacer Yash Dayal got a maiden call from the Indian Test team. The Prayagraj-born bowler will also be a part of Team India against Bangladesh. 26-year-old Yash Dayal has played 24 first-class matches, in which he has taken 76 wickets, he also has experience playing in the Indian T20 League, Dayal has taken 28 wickets in 28 matches played in the IND T20 League, he currently plays for the southern franchise Bangalore side in this rich cash league. However, he has also represented Gujarat side.

Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah also included

India played the last Test series with England at home where they thrashed Bazball by 4-1 under the leadership of skipper Rohit Sharma. But India's star batter Virat Kohli was not a part of this series, he withdrew his name from this series due to personal reasons. However, now he has been selected for the first Test against Bangladesh.
