The highly anticipated ODI series between India and England will begin on February 6. It will consist of three matches at Nagpur, Cuttack, and Ahmedabad. The series provides a great opportunity for both teams to fine-tune their strategies ahead of the all-important Champions Trophy, which begins on February 19 in Pakistan.

In the bowling department, Ravindra Jadeja leads the charts for the hosts with 39 wickets against England. Meanwhile, former pace bowler James Anderson is the top wicket-taker for the Brits with 40 wickets against India. 

All eyes will be on Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli as the duo is coming off a disappointing outing in Tests down under. A whole lot will depend on these two if India has to do well in this series and the Champions Trophy later. Virat Kohli has registered 1,340 runs in 36 ODIs whereas Rohit Sharma has 724 runs under his belt against the 2019 champions. Mohammed Shami will shoulder the pace bowling responsibility for India. He has 25 ODI wickets against England.      

Joe Root, Harry Brook and Liam Livingstone will be the key players for England with bat in hand. Adil Rashid will be the bowler to watch out for. The 36-year-old has excelled in these conditions and has 46 ODI wickets in Asia at 28.10.
