Zimbabwe will square off against India in the 1st game of the five-match T20I series starting on Saturday, July 6. The Harare Sports Club will host the game. 

Team India is sending a young squad led by the most talented youngster Shubman Gill while Sikandar Raza will lead the Zimbabwean side. The Men in Blue includes the likes of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Washington Sundar and Ravi Bishnoi. For the hosts, Brian Bennett, Blessing Muzarabani and Wesley Madhevere are the players to watch for.

Previously these two sides have faced each other in eight T20I matches out of which India emerged victorious in six of these occasions, and Zimbabwe managed only two. In their previous five T20I games, India has won thrice while Zimbabwe managed two wins.

The last T2oI bilateral series between the sides took place in 2016. In recent times, India and Zimbabwe met at the T20 WC 2022, where India sealed a thumping win over Zimbabwe by 71 runs. 

This series would be heart-pounding for Zimbabwean fans as their cricket skills shined significantly over the past few years. Also, Indian fans would be looking keenly towards young Team India regarding how they deliver on the World stage under the leadership of a young captain.
