Preview 

The 23th match of the Indian Kabaddi League season 10 will witness the clash between Mumbai (MUM) and Patna (PAT) at the Badminton Hall in Balewadi Sports Complex, Pune on Friday, December 15. 

Having started their campaign with a win, MUM have suffered two losses on the bounce against Gujarat (GUJ) and Pune (PUN). The former champions would like to return back to winning ways but will have their task cut out in this meet. But the men from west can secure five points with their raiders Amir Mohammad Zafardanesh and Guman Singh, who have done well thus far. 

Vishvanath and Jai Bhagwan are the two backup raiders in this team, making them a formidable force upfront. It is their defence that needs to live up to its name. Not only were Mumbai successful in retaining two of their quality defenders but also roped in two more raiders in the auction. The quartet of Surinder Singh, Mahender Singh, Rinku Singh and Girish Ernak have loads of experience which they need to bring onto the mat.

Patna (PAT) will be looking to forget the massive loss against Bengal (BEN) and move forward. The young side has been spot on in the majority of the games. Sachin Tanwar has been in incredible form with 32 points to his name. His extended reach is a threat to cover defenders who will be disinclined to go for the Raiders. The three time champions have found a new star in the form of Sudhakar who fetched a Super 10 coming from the bench. 

While the focus of attention has been on the raiders, the defence has covertly gone about their business. Captain Neeraj Kumar has set the mark for his teammates to follow. Sajin Chandrasekar and Krishan Dhull have done well in patches. They would like to come good against Mumbai (MUM)

PAT: PAT’s raiding has been majestic, all thanks to Sachin Tanwar, who has secured 32 raid points this far in only three games. With two Super 10s and 10.67 raid points per game, Sachin will certainly be one to watch out for in this match.
