Ishant Sharma quotes these players as key factors for India’s triumph in WC 2024

Ex-Indian speedster Ishant Sharma is backing the Men in Blue to lift the World T20 League 2024 trophy. After winning the maiden tournament in 2007, team India has failed to get their hands on the coveted title since then. India will face England in the second round of the semi-finals at the Providence Stadium in the West Indies. The trophy defenders have previously thumped Team India by 10 wickets in the semi-final round of the World T20 League 2022. 

Jos Buttler and Phil Salt are in their prime form and can take away the match from the hands of Rohit Sharma’s bowling unit at any point of the game, but the presence of Bumrah will prove to be a crucial factor in this game. 

The star Indian pacer didn’t play in the previous edition of the marque event due to his back injury. With Rohit being in sublime form hitting a 90 plus score against Australia in the Super 8s match, he will give a major confidence to his team. Also, the bowling side of England consists of Chris Jordan, who claimed a hat trick against the USA, which will be a tough challenge to face by the Indian batters.
