Jorginho believe Group B Euro 2024 is a difficult group

Italian national team midfielder, Jorginho, admits that Group B Euro 2024 is a difficult group, it can be said to be the 'Group of Death'. The reason is that apart from Italy, there are two other giants entrenched there. The first is Spain, the collector of three Euro titles. Then there is Croatia, runner-up at the 2018 WC and finishing in third place at the 2022 World Cup.

Another team is Albania, however, they cannot be underestimated because of their good performance during the qualifying round. Ahead of the opening of Euro 2024, Jorginho was asked what his assessment was regarding Group B. The 32-year-old also admitted that this group would be difficult for anyone, including the Italian national team.

“Yes, it is a difficult group with great teams. "This is a group that will keep us busy," he told UEFA. However, Jorginho emphasized that Italy will not be afraid to face its rivals in Group B. He said the Azzurri would work hard to beat anyone in front of them. "But we will play hard because we are also a great team. I think this will be a good show for those who love football," exclaimed Jorginho.

The Italian national team squad at Euro 2024 is of course different from the Italian squad at Euro 2020. There are several players who have left the Azzurri squad, there are also those who still survive and there are also new names. Even though the appearance is different, Jorginho said that in terms of game this team is not much different from the team four years ago.

“This is a group of people who want to grow, learn and improve every day. Everyone is available, I think this is very important. We did very well. So, there are some similarities. "The playing philosophy is also similar," he said. “We always try to force our game, keep the ball because the coach asks us to, but this is also thanks to the characteristics of the players we have.
