Juan Cabal wore a replica Juventus jersey
In the past, Juan Cabal only wore a replica Juventus jersey. Now, the 23-year-old Colombian left-back can wear an original jersey as a Juventus player. He was signed by Juventus from Hellas Verona for a fee of around €12.8 million and he is contracted until June 30, 2029.
Cabal began his professional career with Atletico Nacional in Colombia in 2019, three years later, he moved to Italy to play for Verona. After two seasons with Verona in Serie A, Cabal's talent caught the attention of Italian giants Juventus, who are now coached by new coach Thiago Motta.
On Cabal's social media, there is a photo of himself as a teenager wearing a replica Juventus jersey. According to him, he is indeed a Juventus fan. "I am very happy, because this is one of the biggest clubs in the world, and I am very happy to wear this jersey," Cabal said as he made his transfer to Juventus official, as quoted by Football Italia.
"When I was a child, I wore this jersey, but not the original one, and now I can wear the legendary Juventus jersey. I am very happy, i have always been a Juve fan," he added. At Juventus, Cabal will wear the number 32 jersey and this number was last worn by Leandro Paredes in the 2022/2023 season. For Cabal, joining Juventus is like a dream come true, in the past, he could only wear fake jerseys. Now, he can wear original jerseys, even as a Juve player.
