The fifth season of the Lanka T20 League has reached its most thrilling stage as the top four teams are set to clash in the Playoffs this week. The first game is Qualifier 1 between Galle Marvels and Jaffna Kings which is scheduled to be played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on July 18. The two league toppers who have won five out of eight matches in the group stage will fight it out in Qualifier 1 to seal the first slot in the Final game of the event. 

There is not much difference between Galle and Jaffna as they both played fabulous cricket in this edition of the event. This will be a thrilling encounter as both sides share similar firepower and bowling capabilities.

This match will decide who will get a direct entry into the finals while the other has to fight it out in Qualifier 2 with the winner of Eliminator. In the meantime, both sides have faced off 10 times before, with each side winning 5 games a piece, setting the stage for yet another thrilling showdown.
