Erik Ten Hag head coach reveals Rashford's injury condition
Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag revealed Marcus Rashford's injury condition. The England national team midfielder suffered an injury against Liverpool while competing at Old Trafford, Manchester United drew 2-2 against Liverpool on Sunday(07th April 2024). This result meant the Red Devils are still stuck in sixth place in the Premier League standings after 31 league matches they have 49 points.
In that match, Rashford was played as a starter however, the number 10 player was only able to play for 60 minutes. Rashford suffered an injury and could not continue the match and he was pulled out and his position was then replaced by Antony. After the match, Ten Hag reported on Rashford's condition and the Dutch coach revealed that Rashford's injury did not seem too serious.
"I'm not sure, but I don't think it will be long," said Ten Hag on the club's official website. Rashford has appeared 38 times in all competitions this season. In the entire match, he was able to contribute eight goals and five assists. Talking about the match it was a good contest between the hosts Man United and the Visitors Liverpool, both sides fought well and ended up with a scoreline of 2-2. As a result, Liverpool missed out on the opportunity to top the league table and share a point against the Red Devils and stayed on second place with 71 points after 31 league matches.
