Atlay Bayindir in Man Utd's radar

Manchester United have piqued interest in a move for Fenerbahce goalkeeper Altay Bayindir to provide competition for new €55 million signing Andre Onana, as per Daily Mail reports

The Red Devils have already completed the signing of 27 year-old from Inter Milan but, with Dean Henderson set to join Nottingham Forest and Tom Heaten linked to Luton Town, United boss Erik Ten Hag is on the lookout for another shot-stopper to fight for pole position at Old Trafford.

Bayindir is expected to part ways with the Yellow Canaries, and the Turkish club are already in talks with Dinamo Zagreb’s Dominik Livakovic.

Manchester United are hoping to bring the Turkey international to Old Trafford for around  €7m, but with Ajax Amsterdam also showing interest, he may prefer a move elsewhere to secure more game time.

From one transfer target to another, Man Utd are reluctant to pay more than £60m for Atalanta striker and their top target Rasmus Höjlund.

United have made the Danish player one of their top priorities this summer as manager Ten Hag looks to add more goals to his squad, but the teams are on different grounds on a fee and United are looking at other alternatives.

Atlanta are hoping to receive a considerable return for the 20 year old should he leave because he is under contract until 2027. However, United believe a valuation over £85m does not reflect the fact that Höjlund is yet to make 100 senior appearances and last season has only scored nine goals in the Serie A.
