South Africa Women and Sri Lanka will face each other in match number 11 of the Commonwealth Games T20. Both SA-W and SL-W are yet to win an encounter thus far and will be desperate to earn their maiden win of the competition. With the medal out of contention, both sides will have nothing but pride to play for. 

South Africa Women are going through a lean patch at the moment. The team has been consistently losing matches but worse than that, the players have looked demotivated on the field. They have immense talent within their squad. In the batting department, the proteas have the likes of Laura Wolvaardt, Sune Luus and Mignon Du Preez who have scored heaps of runs all across the world. Bowling prowess looks potent with Shabnim Ismail and Ayabonga Khaka in the ranks. 

Sri Lanka Women have struggled with their consistency. The simple reason behind this is the cricket structure within the country. Lack of support and underdeveloped facilities are the key causes. Chamari Athapathu is probably the only world class player in their lineup. Madavi and De Silva are the other two players who have shown some promise in recent times. 

Their bowling lineup however is pretty weak. Their bowlers lack the genuine wicket taking ability. They have a spin focused bowling attack and so the conditions are not going to favour them.
