The Chennai team is on a losing streak and there’s absolutely nothing for them to take inspiration from. Shivam Dube was the only player in form but the young Indian can’t win them matches single handedly. Something has to change in the team and that needs to be quick. Ravindra Jadeja needs to take the responsibility and make some tough calls. Otherwise, it’s going to be a long and hard tournament for the men in yellow. Bangalore, on the other hand, has done well under Faf Du Plessis. The bowling is coming good and the batters are finally finishing matches. This season, Du Plessis joined Bangalore while Ali and Rituraj are not on form. Uthappa is giving the start but can’t make it big. Even if the batters post a hefty total, the bowling line-up isn’t good enough to defend it. The team needs to analyse bowling performance as you cannot win a tournament like Indian T20 League with bowlers like Mukesh Choudhary and Maheesh Theekshana. They can be anything but they cannot be with main bowlers. The team can’t build pressure on opponents. If this continues, the team will finish in the bottom two. Jadeja’s form will be key and will decide how Chennai plays in the coming games.

Bangalore will be happy with how they are playing. Be it batting or bowling, everything is coming well for the team. However, the team has suffered a very unfortunate blow. The sudden demise of Harshal Patel’s sister ruled him out for some time. The team will have to overcome the situation and give their best to win it for Harshal in this hour of need. Maxwell’s introduction is a massive boost and the team will get the result really soon.
