You cannot praise Hyderabad enough. Can you? A team that looked dead for the first couple of matches changed each and everything about them and won three on a trot. They are just not winning games rather winning them convincingly. Punjab on the other hand has surprised some folks. They got a decent squad but they have surpassed their quality and are getting better day by day. So, when Punjab will challenge Hyderabad on Sunday, expect a cracking contest when these two underdog teams clash against each-other.

Talking about Hyderabad first, the duo of Rahul Tripathi and Aiden Markram ran havoc against Kolkata and won the match pretty comfortably in the end. Their captain Kane Williamson and few other players in the lower middle order needs to get back into form, otherwise the same players won’t be able to carry the team all the time. Coming to bowling, the team is doing some real good homework and they are applying it very smoothly on the match. That is helping them massively. The biggest strength of the bowling unit is that they got a swing bowler in form of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, a raw pacer in form of Umran Malik, and a Yorker specialist in form of T. Natarajan. No one’s quite sure whether Washington Sundar is fit to play but if he does, that will help the team massively. The team has the capability to derail Punjab and with that, Hyderabad will cement their position as one of the contenders for the playoffs.

Punjab on the other hand, defeated Mumbai in their last match and is in good form lately. Credit goes to their bowling and players like Liam Livingstone. Odean Smith did his best in his limited time but the player needs to improve massively with the ball in his hand. Mayank Agarwal played a blistering knock in the last match and took the attack to Mumbai and he needs to play in the same manner and lead by example. Shikhar Dhawan is playing some good cricket but the 36-year-old needs to make his start into a big score. Rahul Chahar is another player who is playing superbly. He is giving the early breakthroughs, bowling the tough over and getting the job for the team. Now, the team will hope that Bairstow comes to the party and does what he is known for. Lastly, we want to mention Arshdeep Singh. Despite having Rabada in their team, Arshdeep stole the entire spotlight and is playing some great cricket. The boy got some talent!
