Reigning Champions Mumbai will take on three time champions, Chennai on Sep 19 in Dubai to kickstart the second leg of the Indian T20 League. Earlier this year, the T20 tournament was abruptly abandoned due to spate of COVID cases in the bio bubble. The second leg is scheduled to be played at the United Arab Emirates where the stadiums are known for their small dimensions. UAE will host all 31 of the remaining fixtures. While Dubai International Stadium will host 13 games including the first qualifier and the all important final, Sharjah will feature 10 games, including the second qualifier and eliminator.
