Nasser Hussain wants this Bengaluru player to be in India’s T20 World Cup squad

Dinesh Karthik is now one of the most prominent cricket commentators. The ex-Indian cricketer has contributed not only in the field for India but also in the commentary box to many major tournaments as a commentator.

He recently had a funny discussion with the then-England skipper Nasser Hussain, who wants to see the Indian keeper batter play for Team India in the T20 World Cup 2024 which is scheduled in the Caribbean and United States later this year.

Karthik, known for his cunning replies gave an on-spot reply and disclosed how Nasser was hunting him down with his words when he was in the Indian squad in the T20 World Cup.

“DK you been sensational for Bengaluru in the Indian T20 League 2024 and I thought you are pushing for a spot in the World Cup squad after one game,” Nasser Hussain stated.

DK was not willing to take the logic and jokingly exposed the ex-England captain. “Nasser, I am having none of this. He doesn’t like me as a person, player and wicket-keeper. He was the only person who wanted me out of the Indian team when I was playing in the T20 World Cup. He kept asking about Rishabh Pant. Nasser stabbed me in the back with his comments. He is a tiger in the clothes of a sheep. If Nasser has a list of six Indian wicket-keepers, I would probably be the eighth one for him,” Dinesh Karthik said during a sports talk show.

In the meantime, Bengaluru has lost in four games while winning just one in the 17th edition of the biggest franchise event.
