Ravindra Jadeja completes 15 years in International Cricket

 

Indian cricket sensation Ravindra Jadeja marked a noteworthy milestone in his cricketing career as he completed 15 years in International cricket on Thursday. 

 

To express his gratitude and heartfelt thanks for every moment he cherished during this remarkable journey he wrote on his social media account:

"15 years of living my dream - grateful for every moment," Jadeja wrote on his social media platform while sharing a few pictures of his journey.

 

The star Indian all-rounder’s journey in International cricket began on February 8, 2009, in an ODI series against Sri Lanka. Since that time, he has been a talisman for the Indian Cricket Team, demonstrating his skills both with the bat and the ball.

 

In ODIs, Jadeja has amassed 2756 runs in 197 matches at an average of 32.42 and picked 220 wickets.

 

The allrounder has also made a mark in the shortest game format. He also debuted in T20Is on February 10, 2009, against Sri Lanka.  With 66 T20I caps, Jadeja has accumulated 480 runs at an average of 22.86, while also scraping 53 scalps.

 

In the event of Tests, Jadeja's first appearance came in 2012 against England, after which he became an integral part of Team India’s Test squad.

With 101 innings under his belt, Jadeja has scored 2893 runs at an impressive average of 36.16, in addition to claiming 280 wickets.

Jadeja possesses three centuries in Test cricket with the highest score of 175* scored in 228 balls against Sri Lanka in 2022.
