MI Cape Town will face off against Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the highly anticipated SA Premier League 2025 final. The Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg will host the match on Saturday, February 8, at 9:00 PM. 

Rashid Khan and his team entered this game after winning two straight matches and finishing at the top of the league standings with 35 points. In Qualifier 1, MICT comfortably defended 199 runs against David Miller’s Paarl Royals. Ryan Rickelton and Dewald Brevis were the standout performers, each scoring 44 runs. Skipper Rashid Khan, along with Trent Boult, Kagiso Rabada, and Corbin Bosch, took two wickets each to restrict Paarl Royals to 160 runs with two balls remaining. 

On the other hand, the defending champions, led by Aiden Markram, secured their spot in the final for the record third time with a commanding victory in Qualifier 2. Before that, they defeated the Joburg Super Kings in the Eliminator by 32 runs. This marks the Eastern Cape side's third final qualification, and they will be looking to make it a hat trick of titles. Tony de Zorzi (78) and Jordan Hermann (69*) were the standout players who helped JSK chase a target of 175 runs with eight balls to spare.
