Chelsea has officially announced the signing of Tosin Adarabioyo

Premier League club Chelsea announced that they have officially brought Tosin Adarabioyo to Stamford Bridge. The announcement was made on Friday (07/06/2024) morning local time. Tosin himself was transported free of charge from Fulham, his contract at Fulham expires at the end of the 2023/2024 season. This English player is reluctant to extend his tenure at Craven Cottage.

Tosin is actually also linked with several other clubs such as Liverpool and Manchester United. But in the end it was Chelsea who smiled broadly. Chelsea announced that Tosin Adarabioyo would start his contract at Stamford Bridge on 1 July 2024. The Blues also said they had signed the 26-year-old player for the next four years. "Chelsea is pleased to announce centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo will join the club ahead of the 2024/25 season."

"The 26-year-old has signed a four-year contract – which starts on July 1 – and arrives from west London neighbors Fulham." Chelsea's joint sporting directors, Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, have commented on the recruitment of Tosin Adarabioyo. They are very happy because they can finally bring in the player they are targeting in the summer of 2024.

"We are very happy to be able to bring Tosin to Chelsea. Throughout his career, he has shown maturity and defensive quality and has gained a lot of experience in the Premier League in the last few seasons," praised the two on Chelsea's official website. "He is ready to step up to Chelsea and work with the talented players in our squad. We look forward to Tosin joining us for pre-season," he said.

Tosin Adarabioyo finally became Chelsea's first signing in the Enzo Maresca era.
