Liverpool wants to sign Federico Chiesa from Juventus
The EPL giants Liverpool is reportedly rivalling Manchester United in the hunt for Federico Chiesa from Juventus. The 26-year-old midfielder is one of Italy's top players and he is a centre of Old Lady's and also the Azzurri squad, he was sidelined due to injury. But now Chiesa seems to have started to find his best performance so far this season, he has made 25 appearances in all competitions. Chiesa scored seven goals and two assists and he is indeed Juventus' key player. However, his future at the club is unclear moreover, the contract will expire in 2025 and he was then linked with Premier League giants, Manchester United.
Rumour has it that Juventus is interested in recruiting Chiesa he will be one of MU's locus points along with Antonio Conte. The 54-year-old veteran head coach Conte himself is reportedly being targeted to replace Erik Ten Hag. Previously, it was often said that the Dutch coach would be ousted because the Red Devils' performance was unstable but now it's not just Man Utd who are targeting Chiesa. Their rivals in the Premier League, Liverpool, are also reportedly targeting the 26-year-old player.
This news was claimed by an Italian journalist, Fabio Santini, via Sportsmole. He claims that Liverpool is now preparing communication with Juventus. The Italian giant itself is reportedly ready to let Chiesa go, they will sell it for a minimum price of £34 million. This amount is of course affordable for Liverpool and the Reds themselves had previously been said to have tried to bring in Chiesa but were rejected by Juve.
