This English club wants to recruit Bremer
Is Man Utd ready to sign Gleison Bremer from Juventus?
As per reports, there is some good news coming from EPL club Man United. The Italian club Juventus is reportedly ready to release Gleison Bremer this summer. The Red Devils are hunting for a new centre-back and they believe that a Brazilian defender will be a perfect pick for them. United's head coach Erik Ten Hag believes that his team lacks central defenders because Raphael Varane potentially wants to leave this summer.
One of the names reported to be being targeted by United is the 26-year-old Gleison Bremer. Juve's centre-back is considered to have suitable characteristics to strengthen the Red Devils' defense line and MU has the potential to secure Bremer's services. Juventus is reportedly ready to part ways with the defender.
The Old Lady has made it clear to release the Brazilian defender and his next destination likely to be EPL. Bremer is one of their best central defenders at the moment in the Italian league and even for his national side Brazil. However, Bianconeri still needs a whopping funds for their team so like it or not, they have to release their star defender like Bremer in the summer and they are just waiting for the positive response from Man Utd.
On the other hand, Juventus has reportedly also started looking for a replacement for Bremer. So they won't lack manpower when the defender moves later. Manchester United must be prepared to pay a high price for Bremer's services. Juventus plans to release the Brazilian defender for €60 million next summer.
Bremer has netted 13 goals in his three full seasons in Italy, 11 in Serie A, a record for a central defender over that period. The 26-year-old centre-back began his career in Brazil, emerging first from the Desportivo Brasil youth system before moving to the Sao Paolo Academy. Bremer made his First Team debut in 2017 with Atletico Mineiro, and in 2018 he was signed by Torino, making 110 appearances, 105 as a starter, for the Granata. In 2022 Bremer joined hands with Juve, in the ongoing seasons he has featured in 24 games with Juventus and he scored twice for them. In 2022-23, he made 30 appearances with Bianconeri and scored 4 goals for them.
