Niko Kovac seems to be the perfect replacement for Jurgen Klopp

Former Bayern Munich boss, Niko Kovac, is claimed to be on the list of candidates to replace Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool. Klopp will not continue his contract at Liverpool after the 2023/2024 season ends. He is running out of energy and will withdraw from the world of football. The report claims that Kovac's agent is already in England, specifically in London. The agent is said to have announced to clubs in England that his clients are ready to accept applications from anyone in the summer of 2024. Kovac himself is a coach who is quite experienced, especially in bringing his team to win the title. So far he has collected five championship titles throughout his coaching career.

Niko Kovac started his coaching career in 2013. He coaches the Croatia U-21 national team. Then he was trusted to handle the Croatian national team in the same year. He held that position for about two years. After that, Kovac moved on to manage the German club, Eintracht Frankfurt in 2016. In the summer of 2018, he moved to Bayern Munich.

However, Kovac only lasted until November 2019. After being unemployed for several months, he accepted AS Monaco's offer in July 2020. In January 2022, he left the Paris club. Kovac then accepted Wolfsburg's proposal in May 2022 and was fired from the club in March 2024.
