Bayern held Real Madrid 2-2 in the UCL Clash

Real Madrid striker Rodrygo was not too disappointed with the draw his team got against Bayern Munich. He considered the draw to be good because the German giants are a strong team. This fierce duel ended without a winner and with a score line of 2-2 in a nail-biting contest after Vinicius was able to equalize for the Visitors a few minutes before the end of normal time. Rodrygo himself was not too disappointed with this draw. "If we can't win this match, then we will try at least not to lose," Rodrygo said in an interview. The 23-year-old Brazilian striker admitted that Bayern Munich played very well in this match and the German giant was able to make Madrid throughout the match.

That's why Rodrygo thinks his team could be complacent about being able to steal a draw in this match. "If you look at the match, I think a draw is a good result. We know how difficult the Champions League is, and we are used to difficult matches like this," continued Rodrygo. On the same occasion, Rodrygo also appreciated Real Madrid's mentality in this match. He said Real Madrid didn't panic when they fell behind so they were able to equalize. "I think they [Bayern Munich] feel they have succeeded in finishing us off, but they don't know that moments like this are our most dangerous phase," continued Rodrygo. "We didn't play too well in the match, but we were able to score the equalizer," he emphasized.

This draw meant that Real Madrid and Bayern Munich's chances of qualifying for the final are still open. However, Real Madrid will have an advantage because the second leg will be held at the Santiago Bernabeu, where Los Blancos will play in front of thousands of their loyal Madridistas.
