Cristiano Ronaldo is all set to extend his contract at Al Nassr: Reports

Portugal ace striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, is reportedly still at home playing at Al Nassr and he is ready to extend his contract at the Saudi Arabian club. 5-time Balon d'Or winner Ronaldo is now 39 years old however, he is still able to maintain his performance at the highest level. This season he continues to appear crazy with a score of 42 goals from 41 appearances while adding 12 assists under his belt.

Last season with Al Nassr, Ronaldo recorded 14 goals in 19 matches and also added two assists. Currently, the Portugese superstar is still under contract with the Yellow Submarine until the summer of 2025. However, Ronaldo is reportedly ready to extend his tenure in Saudi Arabia. This rumour was reported by a journalist named Ben Jacobs, on talkSPORT, he claims Al Nassr wants to extend Ronaldo's contract for another year. On the other hand, Ronaldo also gave the green light to stay longer in Saudi Arabia.

He said Al Nassr wanted to extend Ronaldo's contract because of two factors. The first is because his abilities are truly great and the second is that he is a very good marketing machine for the club and also for Saudi Arabian football. This 2023/2024 season, Al Nassr again failed to achieve success, they were unable to win the Saudi Arabian League championship trophy.

They lost to Al Hilal previously in the league encounter. Ronaldo doesn't want this situation to continue, he wants Al Nassr to strengthen fully in the next fixture against Al Hilal in match 32 of the Saudi Pro League. Ronaldo is said to have asked the club to bring in his teammate from the Portuguese national team, namely Bruno Fernandes, who is currently still playing at Manchester United. Al Nassr is reportedly ready to fulfil Ronaldo's wishes and they've already prepared large funds to poach Bruno Fernandes from Man United.
