In a breathtaking display of power hitting, Gujarat's Urvil Patel smashed an unbeaten 115 off just 41 balls as his team romped home by eight wickets against Uttarakhand in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. This was Patel's second consecutive century after last month's record-breaking innings and handed Gujarat their fifth victory in the tournament.

Uttarakhand set Gujarat a stiff target of 182, thanks to breezy fifties by Aditya Tare and Samarth R and a quickfire 43 from Kunal Chandela. Then, when the middle order collapsed, a fighting chance was given to them. However, Patel's explosive batting turned the tide, having hit 11 sixes and eight boundaries, by which Gujarat won the game in just 13.1 overs.

In another nail-biting match, Bengal chased down Bihar's total of 147 in just 14 overs, with Karan Lal's sensational unbeaten 94 off 47 balls stealing the thunder. Though Bihar skipper Sakibul Gani fought his way to a 79 off 56 deliveries, it was Lal's aggressive innings that stole the show for Bengal as they cruised towards a dominant win.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir won their fourth season match, overcoming Uttar Pradesh by six wickets. A composed 85 from Shubham Khajuria ensured a steady chase of 148, supported by a good opening partnership. Uttar Pradesh could not gain momentum, remaining at 157/6 to set up J&K for the chase.
