Vazquez, Mbappe, And Rodrygo shine as Madrid clinch victory against Alaves

Real Madrid successfully defeated Deportivo Alaves with a score of 3-2 in match day 7 of La Liga 2024/2025 which was held at the Santiago Bernabeu, on Wednesday(25th September IST).

Los Blancos' three winning goals were scored by Lucas Vazquez, Kylian Mbappe, and Rodrygo. The Visitors Alaves managed to reduce the deficit thanks to goals from Carlos Benavidez and Kike Garcia later in the 85 and 86 minutes of the game respectively. Thanks to this result, Real Madrid still ranks second in the standings with 17 points, only one point behind Barcelona. Meanwhile, Alaves is ranked eighth with 10 points.
