Vitor Roque registered by FC Barcelona ahead of Las Palmas clash

Spanish football giants FC Barcelona have registered Vitor Roque in time. There was some doubts concerning the situation but the Barcelona No.19 is now all set to go.

This news sets a positive for the Catalan side as this means he could debut on Thursday night and Barca have already announced that he is in the squad for the game. The team head coach once again urged for some patience and spoke about his new signing ahead of the matchday.

“We will take things step by step with him. He is a kid aged 18, so we can’t load him with responsibility now because he needs time to adapt,” he expressed.

“But he’s ready [to play] and training well. He is professional and quickly adapting to his new surroundings, but we will be cautious.”

The ex-Barca legend turned coach talked about how the club has been working hard to help their new signing settle in Barcelona.

“We have [football coordinator] Bojan [Krkić] helping him adapt,” he added.

“Raphinha has also stepped up as a guide as a fellow Brazilian, while [Ronald] Araújo also speaks Portuguese.

“He’s young, but we’re going to help him. We are having video sessions showing him exactly what we want from him in attack and defence. It’s going really well.”

Vitor Roque will probably start on the bench and hopefully, we will surely get to see him at some point in the match.
