West Ham agree £30m James Ward Prowse deal with Southampton

West Ham United have agreed a fee worth £30m with Southampton to sign their star midfielder James Ward-Prowse . The 28 year old is set to sign a four year deal with The Hammers. As per reports on Tuesday, West ham were working to close the deal as soon as possible. The midfielder has been at Southampton almost all his professional career, having ascended through their academy ranks.  He has scored 55 goals and bagged 55 assists in 422 games for the south coast side. The midfielder featured in Southampton’s first championship game of the season against Sheffield last week, but did not compete in an EFL Cup defeat to Gillingham on Tuesday. 

West Ham have also agreed to pay the fee of £30m to acquire the services of Ex Man Utd skipper and defender Harry Maguire.
