Playoffs begin for the Inaugural Edition of the Women’s T20 League, and here is everything you need to know

 

The first edition of the Women’s T20 League organized by the Indian Cricket Board has been an enormous success. The group stage of the league was full of action-pack cricket, including many nail-biting thrillers and unforgettable moments. The group stage has ended; now, we have three qualifiers competing in the playoffs. Read the entire article to know every upcoming update on the Women’s T20 League Playoffs:

In the Inaugural edition of the league, five teams competed in the group stage on a round-robin basis. These five teams were Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Gujarat, and UP. Each team played with every team two times, and after all that action, Mumbai, Delhi, and UP qualified for the playoffs.

  • Mumbai - Lead by Harmanpreet Kaur

Delhi beat UP in the meantime to win the battle for top place in the points standings and automatic qualification for the final against Mumbai Indians or UP. Delhi has earned a spot in the championship finale game, while Mumbai will play UP in the Eliminator match.
