Afghanistan will square off with Australia in the 48th game of the World T20 League 2024. The game will be hosted at the Arnos Vale Ground in Kingstown on Sunday, June 23. 

This will be a do-or-die game for Afghanistan after a humiliating defeat to India in their previous game. The Afghan Tigers came into the Super 8 after their wins against New Zealand, Uganda and Papua New Guinea. The team failed as a whole while chasing 182 runs, hence losing the game by 47 runs. Match Prediction

Australia have their players in good form and their team is unbeaten in this tournament so far. Afghanistan on the other side suffered losses in their previous two matches to West Indies and India. Afghanistan has been over-reliant on Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Fazalhaq Farooqi and if the Aussies manage them well, the rest of the Afghan side will be under huge pressure.
