Marcus Stoinis and David Warner weaved a 102-run partnership to get Australia to a decent score. Stoinis smashed 67 runs off just 36 deliveries to steer his side to a defendable total. Oman tried their best despite their top order throwing their wickets right away. They reached 125 at a loss of 9 wickets losing the match by 39 runs at the end.

The defending champions England are sitting in the 3rd place in the World T20 Rankings. They are in tremendous form and are coming off a 2-0 win in a 4-match T20I series against Pakistan at home. The English side possesses strong arms like Philip Salt, Jos Buttler and Will Jacks who have looked so good so far in the recently concluded Indian T20 League 2024. Also, potent all-rounder like Moeen Ali, Sam Curran and Liam Livingstone adds to all-round support. Their bowling arsenal has the likes of Jofra Archer and Mark Wood who are currently two of the most ferocious bowlers in the world of cricket.
