New Zealand(NZ) will meet Uganda(UGA) in the 32nd match of the T20 World Series 2024 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago on Saturday(15th June 2024). The Black caps having the horrendous tournament so far as they have been eliminated from T20 World Series 2024 after facing defeats against Afghanistan and West Indies in their last two fixtures. What can be more horrifying for Kane Williamson-led NZ side who is at the bottom place in Group C. 

Despite suffering a huge defeat against the West Indies(WI)  in their previous game, the African nation, Uganda found themselves in the third position in the Group which ensured WI's qualification for the next round of the tournament. The Asian side, Afghanistan's(AFG) win against PNG has ensured that they have progressed to the Super 8s berth from this group with 3 wins out of three matches so far, along with hosts West Indies. The Black Caps are hence eliminated and will only be playing for pride now. 

NZ and UGA are yet to play in any format of the game. This is the very first T20I between New Zealand and Uganda. The African nation will play against a top nation in international cricket for the very first time. It will be interesting how Uganda handles the challenge.
