Pakistan will cross swords with Canada in a do-or-die match at the Nassau International Stadium in New York after losing against India. The game is scheduled at 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 11. 

Pakistan, in order to keep their Super Eight stage hope alive, needs to win the remainder of the matches against Canada and Ireland also keeping in mind, that the other results also go in their favour. They were in a well-shaped condition to make a comeback against India but fate turned against them as India managed an unprecedented victory riding on the backs of Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya’s bowling alliance. 

On the other hand, Canada also tasted a defeat to their neighbours USA by 7 wickets in their opening match but they bounced back against Ireland, winning the match by 12 runs. Saad Bin Zafar and Co. need to give their very best to defeat the 2022 runners-up in order to stay in the competition.

Match Prediction

Canada has also produced an upset by defeating Ireland in their previous fixture. They were also not very far from beating the USA who indeed defeated Pakistan in a Super Over thriller. Nevertheless, we cannot rule out the 2022 finalists just because of one or two bad games. Thus we fancy the ‘Men in Green’ to win this match and keep their Super Four qualification hopes alive.
