The co-hosts of the 9th edition of the World T20 League 2024 United States of America(USA) will face the 2009 T20 World League winner Pakistan(PAK) in the match 11 of the tournament. This match is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 06th June 2024 at Grand Prairie Stadium, Grand Prairie, United States from Group A. USA started their campaign with a win in the opening encounter of the league against Canada(CAN) in the North America Derby on Sunday.

This is going to be a big test for the USA who will host Men in Green in the quest of sealing two more points. However it is not going to be that easy for the USA since PAK has both strength in their batting and in their bowling and they can outshine any team on their day. Babar Azam-led PAK has a fine T20 World League pedigree, winning the tournament once and finishing as runners-up twice including in 2022. Even after losing to Zimbabwe they made it to the final's of the T20 World League in 2022.

Pakistan won't be taking USA so lightly since the Dallas side recently defeated Bangladesh by 2-1 in the T20I series then in their last T20I encounter they successfully chased down 195 against Canada. The Hosts' confidence will be on cloud nine after their last fixture and they will be hoping to continue this run against Pakistan as well.

For Pakistan, all eyes will be on skipper Babar Azam and Mohammed Rizwan in the batting, on the other hand, in the bowling unit they have Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf who can produce match winning spells anytime which Pakistan must be looking for from them. 

USA and PAK are yet to play in any format of the game. This is the very first T20I between the United States of America and Pakistan. The North America side will play against a top nation in international cricket for the very first time. It will be interesting how the USA handles the challenge.
