South Africa will cross swords with the co-hosts United States of America in the inaugural encounter of the Super Eight stage of the World T20 League 2024. The match is scheduled to be hosted at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua on Wednesday, June 19. 

The Proteas will enter this match being in seventh heaven having won all their group-stage matches. Though their last few games were uncomfortably close quarter wins, they managed to win all of them. The Markram-led side has faced some batting challenges and should be determined from now on whether they are opening or chasing the target. As we know the tournament has been revolving around positive intents and wins of course, South Africa just like other big fishes would try to start their knockout stage campaign with a thumping win. 

It has been a phenomenal journey for the Debutants USA so far. Match Prediction

The United States of America has so far impressed the whole cricketing world with their splendid performance. The side has pressurised two of the biggest names in World Cricket namely India and Pakistan. Worth mentioning, is producing one of the major upsets in World cricket i.e. defeating Pakistan in a WC Super Over bout. They have a strong and confidence-driven bowling attack, one area in which they need to improve is their batting attack. On the other side stands one of the major trophy contenders South Africa who will not take any of their opponents lightly after witnessing so many upsets in this edition of the World T20 League 2024. They are having a good campaign so far and receiving good efforts from both the batting and bowling ends. Hence we expect the Proteas to come on the top at the end of this match.
