Joshua Zirkzee's ambition at Manchester United: Wants to be like Ibrahimovic

Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee hopes to be like Zlatan Ibrahimovic while at Old Trafford. Ibrahimovic previously joined United in 2016, he was recruited from PSG after his contract expired. The Swedish player was signed for just one year with an option for another year. Ibrahimovic made a total of 53 appearances in all competitions and scored 29 goals and 10 assists. The 23-year-old Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee came to Manchester United in the summer of 2024, he was brought in from Bologna.

The Dutch player has a similar posture to 42-year-old former Man United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Zirkzee hopes that his game and achievements can be similar to the legend. “I would be happy if, in a few years, people say that my game is a bit like Zlatan Ibrahimovic,” he told the Mirror.
