RR and FBA will fight their hearts out in the Eliminator round of the Bangladesh T20 League 2023. The match is scheduled at the Sher e Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday, 12 February.

The Rangpur side will be led by Nurul Hasan Sohan. The team finished third in the points table and now will play the Eliminator which will decide their face in this tournament. It is tough for them as straight three wins can be the only hope for them to win the title.

Their last match was against the Comilla franchise which they lost by 70 runs and it was the final league stage match which was held on Friday. Had they managed a win in that one, they would be playing in Qualifier 1 of the tournament. They failed to chase down a total of 178 runs and were restricted to only 107 runs in 17 overs.

On the other hand, the Barishal side has had a topsy-turvy season. Irrespective of their last game of the league, they had to play the Eliminator. They completed the season with a net run rate of +0.542 and 14 points under their belt.

The Sakib-Al-Hasan-led side will enter the Eliminator after losing against Shai Hope’s Khulna side by six wickets. They posted a quite defendable total of 169 runs at a loss of 8 wickets but failed to restrict the flow of runs in the second innings with three balls in hand.
