Deepak Chahar is sold for a whooping 14 crores while Shardul gets 10.75 crores

The pacers got some good money in the auction table of this year's Indian T20 League. Chennai missed their opportunity to retain Deepak Chahar as they could retain only four but eventually got their man in the auction table. After an intense bidding war with Delhi, Chennai and Hyderabad, Chahar was sold to Chennai for a whooping 14 crores. He however needs to say goodbye to his bowling partner Shardul Thakur as he has been picked up by Delhi for 10.75 crores.

Thakur has been proved to be very crucial and has helped India both with bat and bowl in the recent time. The team also got their hands on former Kolkata spinner Kuldeep Yadav for 2 crores. The franchise has also got their hands on Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman for 2 crores. It is safe to say that the franchise looks well covered.

Like Delhi, Rajasthan also used their money perfectly. Indian pacer Prasidh Krishna will be playing for this franchise after they bought him for 10 crores. Two new franchises Gujarat and Lucknow wanted to have this player but Rajasthan got their man. The franchise also signed Yuzvendra Chahal for 6.5 crores. The former Bangalore spinner was in demand as Mumbai, Delhi, and Hyderabad were behind this player. So now with Ravichandran Ashwin and Trent Boult, Prasidh Krishna and Yuzi Chahal will now be in charge of the bowling department in Rajasthan.

Hyderabad got their ace pacers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T. Natarajan back with their squad. Bhuvneshwar Kumar joined the team for 4.4 crores while Natarajan will be getting 4 crores for his service.

When it comes to other players, Rahul Chahar will be playing for Punjab for 5.25 crores, Jos Hazlewood will be playing for Bangalore for 7.75 crores. Lockie Ferguson will be playing for Gujarat for 10 crores and Mark Wood will be playing for Lucknow for 7.5 crores.
