3rd T20: IND vs SL

Even after a much-improved batting from the Sri Lankan players, the team couldn’t defend a total of 183 runs as India registered another series win by beating Sri Lanka in the second T20I series. In the 3rd T20I, team India is expected to make some changes while Sri Lankans will look forward to taking something back home.

Before the 2nd T20 International, everyone was wondering how Ravindra Jadeja would fit in the upper middle order. Rohit Sharma was very confident about him and he proved his worth in the second match by scoring a quick 45 from 18 balls. Shreyas Iyer scored 74 runs as well. Sanju Samson also got an opportunity to showcase his talent as the Rajasthan skipper scored 39 runs. In short, Indian batters did really well and Sri Lankans were no match to them. In the third T20I, the team is expected to make some changes as Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi are expected to get an opportunity. Ishan KIshan will also miss this match after suffering a consussion in the last match. Mayank Agarwal is expected to replace him.

Talking about Sri Lanka, the team needs to stick to their plan and improve their bowling. Shanaka’s innings should inspire them to do better in the third T20I after he scored 47 from 19 balls in the last match. He also should be promoted up in the order as the top order is not in form and is unable to put any kind of pressure on the Indian bowlers.
