Ivan Perisic is all set to join Spurs on a 2-year contract

The Croatian Ivan Perisic is all set to leave Inter Milan this summer to fulfil his desire to play in the Premier League. Antinio Conte pushed and pushed to sign this winger in order to strengthen the squad after qualifying for Champions League football next season.

The 33-year-old was very much instrumental for Bayern when he helped the club lift their 5^th Champions League title. He played decent football this season scoring 8 goals and assisting seven times. Can he prove his mettle in the Premier League?

Well, Antonio Conte has worked with the Croatian when they were in Inter. Thus, the relationship is really strong and Conte has the ability to bring the best out of all the players he coaches. Thus, a move to London can actually be fruitful for the former Champions League winner.

After desperate attempts to resign him, The Italian giants have now realised that it is not possible anymore. Spurs will sign him for free and the agreement is now in the final stages. Conte feels that Perisic as the key man for his project and thus the board left no stone unturned to give what the coach wanted. This is not it though, expect some more signings for Spurs this season.
