Not qualifying for Europe would be a blessing for Man United, How come?

Manchester United legend Andy Cole has opened his voice regarding the chance of Manchester United failing to qualify for European competition next season. He said that it was not something bad and would be beneficial for the Red Devils. As is known, Manchester United is currently in danger of failing to qualify for European competition. The Red Devils are now in eighth place in the EPL standings.

If this situation continues until the end of the season, then United will fail to play in European competition next season. Many believe that United will suffer big losses if they fail to play in Europe. However, for the 52-year-old legend, not playing in Europe could be a blessing in itself for the Red Devils. "I'm 150% sure that not qualifying for Europe would be a good thing for United," Cole told Betfred.

According to Cole, the Red Devils currently need a lot of improvements, he said that playing in Europe would make it difficult for United to improve. "If United qualify for Europe next season, the fans' expectations of them will be very high. Instead, they should focus on becoming a better team next season," continued Cole. "They have to get United back to where they belong and I think that will take a long time." Cole believes that by failing to qualify for Europe, United have plenty of time to improve their game. That will make the Red Devils profitable in the future.

"When I was a child, my parents said that before you could run, you had to learn to walk first. The same situation also happened at United," continued Cole. Manchester United has two scenarios to qualify for Europe next season.
