Ronaldo's goal guided Al Nassr to beat Al Feiha in the AFC Contest

The 39-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo once again became the architect of Al Nassr's victory against Al Feiha in the first leg of the last 16 of the 2023/2024 Asian Champions League. Not only that, the Portuguese ace striker also set several special records after the match's 1-0 victory. The yellow submarine led by Ronaldo met Al Faeiha at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, Riyadh on Wednesday (14 Feb 2024) in a tight contest. During the match, Al Nassr's coach, Luís Castro, placed Ronaldo as the spearhead in a 4-2-3-1 formation and he did not disappoint his side and produced an important win for his side.

As usual, the Portuguese national team's skipper was able to become a scourge for the opponent's back line. Playing for the full 90 minutes, the 5-time Balon d'Or winner fired four shots, three of which were on target. Of the three good opportunities that the former Real Madrid talisman got, one of them was able to produce results and Roanldo was able to convert Marcelo Brozovic's pass into a goal with a right-footed lob in the 81st minute of the game.

Until the duel ended, no additional goals were scored as Ronaldo's only goal gave the second-placed Saudi Arabia Pro League side a 1-0 victory over Al Feiha. With this result, Al Nassr has one foot in the quarter-finals and they only need a draw when they host Al Feiha at Al-Awwal Park, Riyadh on 21 February, to advance to the last eight of the AFC Champions League. If they manage to advance to the quarter-finals of the Asian Champions League this season, Al Nassr will face the winner of either Nasaf (Uzbekistan) or Al Ain (United Arab Emirates) in a two-legged match.
