Chelsea still wants to hire the services of Victor Osimhen

EPL club Chelsea has reportedly not given up on getting the services of Victor Osimhen. The Blues are reportedly preparing a new offer to bring in the striker this summer. Osimhen's name has long been associated with Chelsea. The Blues have a big crush on the striker who successfully led Napoli to win Serie A in the 2022/2023 season. The 25-year-old Nigerian striker Osimhen himself is interested in many top European clubs, not only Chelsea, the latest news says that the striker will most likely join PSG next season.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Chelsea does not want to lose to PSG. They prepared an attractive offer for Napoli to release the striker to Stamford Bridge. According to the report, Chelsea is ready to propose a player swap to recruit the Nigerian striker.

They offered a certain amount of money plus Romelu Lukaku for Osimhen's transfer. The 30-year-old striker Lukaku was offered to Napoli because the striker's performance had been proven in Serie A. Not only Belgian striker, Chelsea is also ready to offer a young player whose identity is kept secret, so they hope that Napoli will accept their offer.

According to the same report, there is a reason why Chelsea submitted a trade offer for the player to Napoli.
