India take 1-0 in the 3-match ODI series against Sri Lanka

 

On Tuesday, India beat Sri Lanka by 67 runs in the first ODI of the 3-match series and took a 1-0 lead in the series. The Visitors Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bowl at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. Batting first, Team India scored mammoth 373 runs for 7 wickets with the contribution of Virat Kohli's 45th ODI Century, and Rohit and Gill's solid fifties. Sri Lanka's team scored 306 runs for 8 wickets in response to the target of 374.

Captain Dasun Shanaka scored an unbeaten 108 runs for Sri Lanka. At the same time, the fast young gun bowler Umran Malik took three wickets for India. At the same time, Virat Kohli scored a century in the first innings of this match and ended his century drought at home.
