Warner, Starc, Marsh and Stoinis called back for West Indies T20Is

David Warner, Marcus Stoinis, Mitchell Starc and Mitchell Marsh have been included in Australia's 16 member squad for the upcoming two match T20I series against the West Indies in Queensland. All the four players were ruled out of the just concluded series against India due to injury concerns.

All rounder, Cameron Green, who is coming on the back off a stellar India tour wherein he smashed a couple of quick fire fifties, has also been included in the squad. Meanwhile pace bowler, Kane Richardson and left arm spinner, Ashton Agar have been rested.

The National Selection Panel Chairperson, George Bailey said "We have and are taking a cautious approach with the World T20 on the near horizon.”

To have four key players return gives us the ability to take a conservative path with any minor issues and resolve those well in time for the World T20. As such we anticipate Kane and Ashton will return for the following series against England."

Australia are scheduled to square off with England in a three match T20I series in Perth and Carnberra post the Caribbean assignment. Before commencing their World T20 campaign, the men in yellow will also compete in a practice match at the Gabba on October 17.

Australia squad: Aaron Finch (c), Sean Abbott, Pat Cummins, Tim David, Cameron Green, Josh Hazlewood, Josh Inglis, Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Daniel Sams, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoinis, Matthew Wade, David Warner, Adam Zampa.
