Wilfried Zaha attracts offers from the Saudi Pro League
Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha has received a whopping £9 million-a-year deal to join Al Nassr megastar Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi Pro League as per the Daily Mail reports.
The 30 year old’s contract with Palace will expire in June 2023. He was linked with numerous top-tier clubs in the January transfer window but decided to see out his existing contract at the Selhurst Park. With him approaching the final phase of his contract, the former Man Utd player is free to negotiate with foreign franchises/clubs over a possible transfer in the summer.
It has been reported that Al-Ittihad has already contracted the 30 year old with an eye catching £9 million-a-year offer. Al Nassr is also believed to keep a close tabs on the situation. They apparently want the dynamic forward to bolster their attack upfront next season.
Zaha has reportedly expressed his desire to compete in the UEFA Champions League and is thus contemplating his future at the Selhurst Park. Palace are currently languishing at the 12th place in the PL League standings.
As per the reports, They have presented a £200,000-a-week offer on the table for the Ivorian. If he accepts the deal, he would become the highest-paid in the club's history. Zaha has also been linked up with seven time European champions AC Milan.
He has emerged as one of Eagles’ best players since returning to the club following his dreadful stint with the Red Devils. With 67 goals and 42 assists in 285 appearances to his name, Zaha is amongst the few bright prospects in the relegation-threatened club.
