Zidane moves to PSG? Reports suggest so!

In an unexpected turn of events, former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is all set to join Paris Saint Germain in the upcoming summer. Zidane, who won three Champions League as a coach of Real Madrid is considered to be a hot property in the world of football and thus the 49-year-old joining PSG will increase their chances of winning their maiden Champions League title in history!

PSG have everything in line. A perfect squad, an ambitious owner and a brilliant advisor of football in the form of Luis Campos. Mauricio Pochettino, the current manager of the Paris-based side, couldn't give the club what they desperately wanted. The Argentine failed to win the Ligue 1 in the 2020-21 season as well. Thus, pressure was building on him and it is a matter of time when PSG sack him from the role of head coach.

However, a question still remains, will the Frenchman join PSG? Growing up, Zizou always rooted for Marseille. He called it to be ‘a club of my heart’. Thus, he needs to control his emotions before he decides to join the French Champions. It was initially reported that the star player Kylian Mbappe was in tremendous pressure to remain in the club and even the Prime Minister of France called the youngster to remain in the country and play for PSG. Whether the same thing has happened with Zidane or not, we will never know.

It is being reported that the French legend has travelled to Qatar to complete all the paper works and sign in favour of PSG. Zidane working with the PSG squad is like a dream to a lot of PSG supporters and they can indeed dream of winning their maiden UCL trophy. The same dream that Kylian Mbappe had.

Growing up, Mbappe was a huge fan of Cristiano Ronaldo and it was Zidane who helped him visit Santiago Bernabeu and meet his idol. Ever since, Mbappe maintained a cordial relationship with him and thus playing under him and winning under him will be a  perfect circle of his footballing career.
