Southern Brave will cross swords with Welsh Fire for their final group stage match. The 30th game of the Hundred Ball Men’s will be played on Wednesday, August 14 at The Rose Bowl in Southampton. 

This is a must-win game for SOB in order to get their title hopes alive. They also played their previous game against Trent Rockets at the same venue. While bowling first, the Braves restricted the Rockets to a total of 126 runs for a loss of 8 wickets. Chris Jordan picked up three wickets giving away just 22 runs. The chase became difficult for SOB as they quickly lost their middle order. 

Conversely, WEF has had a disappointing start this season so far. They are coming off a two-match defeat but will be hoping to bounce back with a win in this game. The Fire hosted the Phoenix at the Sophia Gardens in their previous match. While batting first the hosts added 146 runs on the scoreboard. Tom Kohler-Cadmore was stunned by a half-century coming from the middle order. BPH openers Ben Duckett and Moeen Ali drafted a partnership of 114 runs to win the game by a 5-wicket margin. This was their fourth defeat this season which confirmed their elimination from this edition of the Hundred tournament. Welsh will look forward to ending their season on a winning note.
