The 16th match of the IND T20 League will be played between DEL and MUM on Tuesday, 11th April 2023, at 07:30 PM IST in Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium. DEL and MUM are the only teams with no victory in their account until now. So today is when the streak will break, either MUM or DEL. Both teams are resting at the bottom of the table (MUM on the 9th, whereas DEL on the 10th).

David Warner would be a worried skipper, for sure. In their most recent match against the RAJ, his team lost by 57 runs. So they have suffered three losses till now. The upper order has to step up since both the openers are out of form. Warner is scoring runs, but the fire in his shots is wholly lost. He’s scoring from a low strike rate, whereas his partner Prithvi Shaw is out of form. Warner has to take the initiative and maintain the team's morale high in the league.

Despite scoring runs in every game, David Warner will need help from fellow opener Prithvi Shaw, who has only scored 19 in three contests. In addition, Manish Pandey, Rilee Rossouw, and Lalit Yadav must score runs in the middle order to improve the team's chances in future games. The team will also need runs from Axar Patel, Rovmann Powell, and Abhishek Porell in the closing stages.   

The bowling assault has often been judged inadequate. Anrich Nortje and Khaleel Ahmed must be effective with the new ball for their team. A solid performance is expected from Mukesh Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, and Axar Patel since they have yet to live up to their reputations.  

The Indian T20 League's most successful squad hasn't lived up to its reputation. In their most recent match against the CHE, Rohit Sharma & Co. lost by 7 wickets. Their bowling attack has struggled, and their batters need to perform better. Rohit will want to go beyond this and perform strongly in this game.  

At the top, Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma must score runs. It has come up in two games as a problem. So move up to No. 3 so that Suryakumar Yadav may score runs alongside Cameron Green and Tilak Varma in the middle of the order. Although SKY is not in that form right now, he can turn the game anytime on his day. Along with him, Tim David, Tristan Stubbs, and Arshad Khan are the three runners that the side like to see in the sequence.  

Since their bowling options are exhausted, the team will require tight spells from Jason Behrendorff and Arshad Khan with the new ball. Green performed well in the last game, and he and Piyush Chawla will need to bowl at the proper spots and restrict the flow of runs. The team is counting on Kumar Kartikeya and Hrithik Shokeen to perform strongly. 

MUM lost their first home game against their arch-rivals CHE, while the Capitals suffered a significant loss in their most recent match against the RAJ.  

The DEL's confidence will be down after three straight defeats. The team's top order has yet to be performed, a big concern in this game. The MUM has a better lineup at the plate. We anticipate a competitive match since the stakes are high for both clubs.
