Leny Yoro Travels for Man Utd Medical to Finalize Move from Lille
Manchester United nearing deal to sign Leny Yoro from Lile
Lile defender Leny Yoro is flying to Manchester to undergo a medical and complete personal terms as the Red Devils close in on signing him.
According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein reports on Wednesday the 18 year old’s original preference was to join Real Madrid but was warmed to move to the theatre of dreams and the latest developments are a major step forward, although nothing is concrete and there is still work to be done.
Last week reports suggested that United and Lille had agreed a €62 million (£52m), with the Ligue 1 club looking to cash in on their prized possession now as compared to losing him free next summer when his contract expires.
United have been linked with numerous centre backs this summer including the likes of Jarrad Branthwaite and Matthijs De Ligt, but it seems they are now nearing a deal for their priority defensive target.
