Manchester United shows interest in Benjamin Pavard and Gabri Veiga

Manchester United have their eyes set on Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard and Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga, as per Football Insider reports

According to the report the Red Devils are looking for a right back and while Bayer  Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong is the target on their priority list, Bayern Munich also hold an interest in the 22 year old. If the Red Devils are beaten in the race to sign Frimpong, they could instead go for Pavard. 

With Pavard’s position at Bayern likely to be under threat upon Frimpong’s arrival, that could create a suitable Plan B for the Premier League giants, with numerous outlets already reporting the exit of the defender from the Allianz Arena.

Man Utd are also looking to bolster their midfield with the signing of Viega this summer. Viega has been enjoying a breakthrough season for Celta Vigo, netting 9 goals and assisting on 4 occasions in 26 Laliga matches. 

It is also reported that midfielder Marcel Sabitzer is eager to make his loan from Bayern Munich permanent with Man Utd looking to complete a deal. Bayern are expected to demand a transfer fee between the range of €25m-€30m for the Austrian, who has adjusted well since moving to Old Trafford on loan in the January window.
